What's your top tip for other student parents?

Make sure you begin your work as soon as you're given it. Don't leave it all to the few days before or you'll be stressed out.

Obviously you don't have as much time on your hands as other parents; take your work in small steps when you can get a little time in peace.

Why did you choose to go to university?

To get a good job that I will enjoy.

What are the best bits of university life?

Knowing you're doing something worthwhile with yourself!

What have been the biggest challenges?

Once my son was not well and I had work due in that week, I was looking after him and trying to do the work at the same time!

How do you cope with money?

I obviously have to budget. I set out what i need for rent, bills, food, things we need and then see what is left over.

What do you wish you had known before you started?

You can get most of your childcare paid for you!

How do you juggle your responsibilities?

I don't stress out, and I make sure I spend the time that I want with my son, yet still do not let myself get behind.

Where will you be in 10 years time?

Hopefully have a fantastic, well paid job I am happy in.

What are your top money management tips?

Write down everything that's coming in and everything that must go out, and put away what you need!
